Happy Summer!!!!!!!!!

Well, today is the lllooonnngggeeessttt day of the year (how cool) and our first day of summer. Yeah!! It is a beautiful day here in my part of the world. Blue, sunny skies, low 80's, nice breeze. Just a "perfect" day. Hard to stay inside and work. My day yesterday was not all raw and as I can use as analysis, it was quite noticable to me. I noticed feeling somewhat "sluggish" off and on in the day. I also noticed I wanted to eat more in the P.M. Hmmm, maybe cooked food elicits " cravings" for more throughout the day. I wasn't physically hungry, but I was mentally hungry. Like I couldn't get it off my mind-uncontrollably. (Is that a word?) The day before, when I ate raw, I wanted to eat at night, but it wasn't "uncontrollable". And my thoughts we more directed on healthy foods-fruits and nuts. I am on to a discovery about myself and what food does to me mentally, emotionally, and physically. I have to then look at how it affects my spiritually. Will I feel closer to God eating raw? More in touch? More aware of Him? Maybe. I would almost think so since I wouldn't be so caught up in addictive thinking and eating patterns. Here is a great scripture reference:
You should know that your body is a temple for the Holy Spirit who is in you. You have received the Holy Spirit from God. So you do not belong to yourselves, because you were bought by God for a price. So honor God with your bodies.
1 Cor 6:19,20 NCV (I love this version of the Bible)
Well, I will let you know as more develops.

Nourishment for Wed 6.20.07:
1 1/2 C green juice: celery, cucumber, apple, cilantro, parsley*
1 organic food bar-(protein-80% raw)
16.9 oz water
1/2 bunch romine lettuce*
nut bar (nuts and puffed rice w/ honey)
2 baby bella mushrooms* w/ humus and dulse*
1 bunch red grapes*
16.9 oz water
organic food bar-(omega 3 flax-100% raw)*
1 strawberry fruit leather
1 strawberry yogurt granola bar
1/2 C vanilla soy ice cream
16.9 oz water
handful almonds*
8 oz water

After looking over my eating yesterday I noticed what I did not eat raw could be "recreated" in a raw version. Something to plan better for. Or, maybe just making several raw treats, snacks, etc. can help to have on hand. Whola!!!!
Peace, Love and Happyness to all!

Great job Cindy,
I wanted to come back and see how you were doing. How awesome. It if insired me to start my diet. I won't even try raw at this point but I do need to lose some of these extra pounds.
It is great to see you doing so well. Keep it up and set up some snacks so you'll be ready for those cravings.
