After several days of not good food choices, I have added back on 2 lbs. That was to be expected though. It's hard to share that. I have wanting to do a juice "feast" and I have this way of not looking at things "just for today", but as a "Oh it will be this long. Oh, I won't be eating and I better get in all the junk :) I can before then." Definately not healthy to approach it this way. My last several days of food choices really reflect this. If you want to know about juice feasting you can check out the following websites: www.rawreform.com www.juicefeasting.com I will let you know what happens next :) Do I seen real "twisted" with the way I eat yet have this passion for nutrition????????

I think you are doing wonder~fully! How could you do any less? You are the best person to care for you; who could do a better job? You may need to let go of some preconcieved notions, such as raw food being the only "right" way. There is no right or wrong way to eat. There may be ways that are more conducive to good health, but it is not "wrong" to eat anything.
Sometimes, when we start turning food into something larger, we create a spirit of rebellion in ourselves, which we should welcome. Our bodies are simply resisting being manipulated, insisting on honesty of intention. That's good, right? We do not want to be tricked or fooled, even by ourselves.
I think you need a great big dose of self love right now. You are OK! You are not doing some intentional harm to yourself or anyone else. You are simply eating the food our society finds acceptable. That is not a crime, or a reason for self loathing.
Begin NOW to treat yourself as you would the person you most love on this planet. Treat yourself with the utmost kindness and respect. Refuse to find fault or accuse yourself of any wrong doing. Love yourself unconditionally. Give yourself what you so willingly give to others. Then relax, sit back and watch the miracles unfold.
In the meantime, pay very close attention to how each food makes you feel. Refuse to feel badly, reject what brings you down. Choose to indulge only in what truly brings happiness to you. Know that you are deserving of all the good things you desire.
You are on the right track. Just stay the course and know that these troubles will pass and become memories, and you will be all the stronger for the difficulty of your journey.
Much Love and Light Coming Your Way!
Connie
