I have some scripture to help change eating habits. I had a copy but I don't remember where I got it from. Anyways, I have been finding I have plenty of tools if I just apply them. I found when eating today that I ate a lot of raw, but totally omitted "good" raw-greens. I ate a lot of raw brownies. I did make tham to plan ahead for the brownies I made to take to work. Anyways, they helped. Then I got home and there were brownies here I had made for my hubby and MIL. So I chose to eat a lg piece of them. Then I felt real sick, like I was having acid reflux?!?? (which I have never had a history of) It was weird. I think I was making myself sick with stress and beating myself up over the nonraw brownie. Here are the scriptures. Hope they are helpful. Feel free to share with me your thoughts and feelings about them. God is good. He has all we need for us-right in place. It's whether we choose to use it (will I choose to use it??)
1. Keep your mind active-think on right things (Prov. 19:15;27:7)
2. Don't eat to stuff yourself, but to satisify yourself. (Prov 13:25)
3. Watch your intake of sweets and meats. (Prov 23:3,20)
4. When you eat, do it to glorify God. (1Cor 10:31)
5. Take your bad eating habits to the cross and reckon them dead. (Prov. 23:2)
6. Pray in the Spirit for ten minutes before you sit down to eat. (Rom 8:26,27)
7. Speak right words about your food before you eat. (Prov. 18:20)
8. Don't eat when you are depressed. (Prov. 15:15)
9. Pray God's Word over your food. (1Tim 4:4,5; Deut. 7:13-15)

1/2 c irish creme coffee w/ creamer and sugar
2 pieces raw brownie * (Much YUMMY-a now fav treat)!!!!
